OxyLock® Mission 10%, Watch Water® Goal : Capture at Least 10% of the Global Oxygen-Control Market

Watch Water® GmbH is not setting a niche target for OxyLock®. The strategic ambition is clear: at least 10% market share in a global oxygen-scavenger market estimated at approximately US$3.27 billion in 2025. That represents about US$327 million in annual market value today. Against a projected 2033 market of roughly US$5.67 billion[1], a 10% share would represent approximately US$567 million in annual market value.

NOT A NICHE PRODUCT.
A GLOBAL MARKET-CONVERSION MISSION.

Mission Matters

Why the 10% Mission Matters

The market already exists. Customers already pay for deaerators, dosing stations, oxygen scavengers, monitoring, corrosion-control programs and recurring chemical supply. OxyLock® does not need to create a new problem or a new budget. The commercial task is to convert existing oxygen-control spending into OxyLock® technology wherever the technical and economic case is superior.

The First Major Battlefield: Boiler Feedwater

A current market assessment estimates the global oxygen-scavenger market for boiler feedwater at approximately US$1.469 billion in 2025.[2] A 10% share of this segment alone would represent roughly US$147 million in annual market value. This is why boilers, steam systems, power generation and industrial feedwater must be among the first core markets for OxyLock®.
Engineered oxygen removal

OxyLock® Must Not Be Sold as Another Chemical Scavenger

The positioning must be bigger: OxyLock® represents the transition from continuous chemical scavenging to engineered oxygen removal. OxyLock® should be commercialized as a platform – treatment media, vessels, sensors, monitoring, engineering, commissioning and service – rather than as a commodity sold only by the kilogram.

CONVENTIONAL MODEL OXYLOCK® MODEL
Dose reactive chemistry Remove oxygen through an engineered treatment bed
Continuous consumption and replenishment Designed bed capacity and service life
Sell a chemical program Sell an oxygen-control technology platform
Compete on dosage and price/kg Compete on performance, TCO and system protection

Five Markets. One Global Technology.

A 10% market-share target cannot be achieved through isolated projects. It requires scale, standardization, evidence and a disciplined international conversion strategy.

1. Boiler & Steam

Primary entry market. Target residual dissolved oxygen after bulk deaeration in industrial steam and boiler systems. Priority sectors: power, food & beverage, chemicals, paper, pharmaceuticals and heavy
industry.

2. Closed loops

Heating, cooling and district-energy circuits where recurring oxygen ingress contributes to corrosion of
pipework, pumps, valves and heat exchangers.

3. High-purity water

Premium applications in electronics, pharmaceuticals and sensitive industrial processes where minimizing unwanted chemical addition can create significant value.

4. Power & large industry

Large skids, OEM partnerships, energy generation, petrochemical facilities and high-capacity industrial
oxygen-control applications.

5. Hydrogen

Strategic future market. Separate development tracks for water-side deoxygenation and – after
independent technical validation – residual oxygen removal from hydrogen gas.

Global model

What 10% Requires in Practice

The objective demands a scalable global model: standardized OxyLock® systems, independently defensible performance data,
reference installations, international distributors, OEM alliances, digital monitoring and recurring replacement-media revenue.

Validate

Document inlet/outlet DO, breakthrough curves, oxygen capacity, service life, pressure drop, temperature, flow and total cost of ownership.

Standardize

Build defined OxyLock® product families for Boiler, Loop, HP, Power and H2 with clear operating windows and monitoring requirements.

Scale

Activate country partners, OEMs and engineering companies through one global sales, training and application-support program.

Convert

Identify installed chemical-scavenger programs and convert them to OxyLock® wherever performance, safety and economics justify the change.

The Message to the Market

OUR TARGET IS NOT 1%. OUR STRATEGIC OBJECTIVE IS AT LEAST 10%. FROM CHEMICAL OXYGEN SCAVENGING TO ENGINEERED OXYGEN REMOVAL.
