Introduction
Special-CC is a scale prevention filter for scale control with high efficiency for the removal of chlorine, chloramines and trihalomethanes (including heavy metals). This is a Point-of-Use (POU), compact, economical and chemical-free filter cartridge to prevent scale build-up due to hard water. Therefore, Special-CC filters are easy to install and provides the best quality water for drinking, coffee machines and tea by maintaining necessary minerals in water for good health.
Special-CC filter is equipped with two high-quality water filtration media. Firstly, Nucleation Assisted Crystallization (NAC) based FILTERSORB® SP3
for scale prevention. Secondly, iron-coated coconut shell-based Catalytic Carbon
for the reduction of chlorine, chloramines, Disinfection by Products (DBPs), Trihalomethanes (THMs) and organics. Moreover, both filtration media are certified for drinking water standards NSF/ANI/CAN 61 2018.
