A 1 % Virol-Oxy® solution (10 g per 1 liter of water) is recommended for most surface disinfection. For hand tools, utensils, and laundry pre-soaking, a 0.5–1 % solution is sufficient.

A freshly prepared 1 % solution remains stable and effective for up to 10 days if stored in a closed container. For maximum 100 % disinfection (Log-5 reduction), a new solution should be prepared daily.

It can be used by spraying, swabbing, rubbing, or immersion. Surfaces should remain wet with the solution for at least 10 minutes, then wiped dry with a clean cloth or paper towel.

Yes. Instruments can be pre-soaked in 1 % solution, brushed clean, and rinsed with disinfected water. It is safe for stainless steel and other corrosion-resistant metals.
