COMBINIX’S PACKED BED CONFIGURATION

The four media’s will settle in the pressure vessel according to their respective weights and densities. The heavier media will naturally settle at the bottom, while the lighter ones will be positioned higher up. Here’s the expected order from top to bottom:

1) HydroSorb - 20%

Effective for organic and inorganic compounds including PFOS, PFAS, PFOA.

2) Catalytic Carbon - 20%

Coated with Zero Valent Iron (ZVI) for high-efficiency removal of organic compounds, heavy metals, chlorine, and chloramines.

3) Cationix - 40%

Efficient softening media, regenerates with only 80 grams of salt, designed for low-maintenance operation.

4) Katalox Light - 20%

Superior in removing iron, manganese, and hydrogen sulfide, ideal for high catalytic filtration system.

All four media regenerate together using only 80 grams of sodium chloride per liter of Cationix Media.
